Some of my most cherished days with my late son Harry were on the practice football field with him and his teammates. Coaching youth football was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had, and this group of 10 and 11 year old boys was extraordinary.
They just got it.
They got the concept of team and set aside their personal agendas for the benefit of their teammates. They got the concept of winning and put forth their effort every day to become the very best they could be. They got how important it was to support and help each other out.
